Little House pastimes

Today. “Little House on the Prairie — Laura Plays Games” is an event from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Plains Conservation Center, an outdoor-education facility. This is a chance to enjoy some of the games that Laura and her sisters played in Laura Ingalls-Wilder’s “Little House” series, including jacks and graces. Youngsters also will get the chance to dress up “prairie style.” Admission is $7-$12. Reservations are required. The Plains Conservation Center is at 21901 E. Hampden Ave., Aurora. Ordinary kid, weird event

Through April 16. Stanley Lambchop is a fictional kid whose bulletin board falls on him while he’s asleep. The result? Stanley wakes up flat. In “The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley,” a children’s theater production now showing at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, the audience follows along as Stanley attempts to become three-dimensional again.
