Police arrested a 21-year-old for allegedly stabbing her 27-year-old sister four times in the chest and abdomen early Saturday morning.
Bernadette Deleon was rushed to Medical Center of the Rockies, in Loveland, at 3:39 a.m. and was in stable condition, a police news release said.
Michelle Aleman was arrested for investigation of first-degree assault. Jeremy Velasquez, 30, also was arrested for investigation of misdemeanor assault and felony tampering with evidence.
Police answered a domestic-violence call at 3717 S. Taft Hill in Fort Collins and found Deleon bleeding from chest and stomach injuries.
They are investigating what sparked the confrontation. Velasquez is believed to be Aleman’s boyfriend, police said.
