COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The son of longtime U.S. Olympic Committee director of media services Bob Condron was killed in a car accident.
Chris Condron, 40, died early Sunday morning in the one-car accident in Colorado Springs. The police report said nobody else was involved in the accident and that alcohol was a factor. The car was found on the side of the road, less than a half mile from Condron’s house.
Condron’s father, Bob, has worked for the USOC since 1984.
In 2008, Bob Condron’s wife, B.J., passed away after a bout with cancer.
