, the salty, vodka-loving host of E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” is returning triumphantly to Colorado. After several years of working her way up from clubs and smaller theaters, the comedian will join the ranks of mega-stand-ups George Lopez and Larry the Cable guy in playing the cavernous at the Colorado Convention Center.
The 19-date “Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me” tour (named after her forthcoming book) kicks off May 10 in Boston and visits Denver on May 12 before winding up in Seattle June 25. She’ll be joined by “Lately” regulars Brad Wollack, Josh Wolf and Heather McDonald on the tour.
Handler’s “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang” tour drew more than 250,000 fans in 44 markets and grossed more than $16 million last year, according to promoters.
