Officials of the newly merged United and Continental airlines on Monday heralded the distribution of $224 million in profit sharing to the combined carriers’ employees. The new company has about 4,800 employees in the Denver area.
In a ceremony at Denver International Airport, United officials handed out checks to line employees.
