The first public meeting on plans to revitalize Montview Boulevard will be on Feb. 24, Aurora officials announced today.

The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library, 9898 East Colfax Ave. The meeting is a “visioning exercise.”

The city recently received a $115,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to develop a plan to revitalize sites for development or reuse that may have tainted by a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant.

The grant will specifically target the Montview corridor, launching planning efforts for housing, transportation and economic growth.
