Soprano Anna Netrebko, one of the world’s most sought-after operatic stars, has canceled her gala concert scheduled for Tuesday evening in the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek because of illness.
According to a short statement released by the Vail Valley Foundation, the singer is “hopeful” she can reschedule the benefit performance. Ticketholders are asked to call 970-845-8497 for exchanges or refunds.
