Got the need to read? The Presidents Day Mega Book Sale continues from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Sunday and wraps up 9 a.m. to noon Monday. Thousands of used books have been donated by Recycle That and Snow Lion Books. No book is priced over $3. Proceeds will fund school libraries in Kenya and a children’s organization in Nepal, under the direction of Scope International and the AMA Foundation. Heads up, mod squad Nicholsworth, a home-furniture resale store, recently acquired the inventory of furnishings and accessories from three estates. Items date from 1920s to midcentury modern. Mining for a bargain Arthur Lakes Library at the Colorado School of Mines is holding its annual Book Sale Monday through Friday.
