GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Authorities say two firefighters suffered minor injuries fighting a blaze in Grand Junction.

KKCO-TV in Grand Junction reports one firefighter was taken to a hospital and the other was treated at the scene of the fire on Sunday.

The fire was reported at 1:30 a.m. Monday in a building housing a liquor store and two other businesses.

Fire Chief Ken Watkins says the fire broke out in a breezeway connecting the business building and a house. Three adults were in the house but escaped safely.

The cause is under investigation.
