VAIL — The head of Colorado’s ski-industry group says the organization has a healthy relationship with Vail Resorts, the state’s largest ski operator, nearly three years after the company withdrew support.
Vail Resorts left Colorado Ski Country USA in 2008, saying the group should be spending more time on public policy and less time on marketing.
Ski Country president Melanie Mills told the Vail Daily that her group regularly communicates with Vail Resorts officials and that there’s no hostility between them.
