Congrats to Colorado cooks and restaurateurs who made the semifinal cut in this year’s James Beard Awards race: ChoLon (best new restaurant); Yasmin Lozada-Hissom (outstanding pastry chef); Frank Bonanno and Steve Ells (outstanding restaurateur); Bobby Stuckey (outstanding wine service); and Alex Seidel, above, Bertrand Bouquin, Mark Fischer, Ryan Hardy, Jennifer Jasinski and Kelly Liken (all up for best chef: Southwest). Finalists will be announced in March; winners in May.
