FRISCO, Colo.—A man who died while skiing at Arapahoe Basin in Colorado has been identified as 32-year-old Michael Bettley, a firefighter from Redford Township, Mich.
Summit County Coroner Joanne L. Richardson says Bettley died Wednesday from blunt force trauma to the chest after falling while skiing at high speed.
He was pronounced dead at a hospital at about 4 p.m.
