Burlington police confirmed late tonight that they are conducting a criminal investigation, which television stations are reporting to be a homicide.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation told 9News they were assisting Burlington police with a homicide investigation.
Burlington police did not release any details about the investigation and did not confirm it was a homicide.
Burlington is about 150 miles east of Denver on Interstate 70, near the Kansas border.
