A Boulder company has been awarded a subcontract to deliver critical ultra-high vacuum components for a quantum computer to be developed by the University of Wisconsin.
ColdQuanta Inc. announced Wednesday that its participation in the multiyear effort is valued at more than $1 million.
The company is finding commercial uses for a new form of matter called Bose-Einstein condensate that was discovered by Boulder scientists who won the 2001 Nobel Prize in physics.
