FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Andy Ogide finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds as Colorado State ended a season-high three-game losing streak with a 78-65 victory over Utah on Wednesday night.

It was the 17th career double-double for Ogide, who played his final home game for the Rams (19-10, 9-6 Mountain West). Jesse Carr added 13 points.

Josh Watkins scored 22 points and Jason Washburn had 12 for the Utes (13-16, 6-9), who had their three-game winning snapped.

Colorado State reached 19 wins for the first time since the 2002-03 season and won nine games in the Mountain West for the first time since joining the conference for the 1999-2000 season.

Colorado State was 24 for 26 from the free throw line in completing the regular season sweep of Utah for the second straight year.

Ogide’s baseline jumper gave Colorado State its largest lead, 63-46, with 6:13 left to play. Will Clyburn got the Utes as close as 65-54 with a layup and free throw with 3:03 remaining, but the Rams put the game away by hitting their last nine free throws.

Utah tried to slow down Ogide by alternating its two 7-foot centers, David Foster and Washburn, on him but had little success in the first half. The 6-9 Ogide used his quickness to make 7-of-11 shots including two dunks as Colorado State led my as many as 10 in the first half.

The Rams led 30-29 at halftime. The Utes took a 31-30 advantage on a driving layup by Watkins 13 seconds into the second half, but Colorado State regained the lead 16 seconds later on Adam Nigon’s layup off a pick-and-roll feed from Ogide. The Rams led the rest of the way.
