This photo was taken while I was racing in the World 24 Hour Mountain Bike Championships in Australia in October 2010. What keeps me motivated: I love the feeling of training and preparing to push my physical and mental limits to their maximum in a 24-hour race. (If I don’t, a 24-hour race is far too painful.)
