BOULDER, Colo.—Katie Nehf scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Wednesday evening to lead the Broomfield Eagles to a 65-42 victory over the Air Academy Kadets in the Class 4A state semifinals.

Tyana Medema scored 17 points for No. 2 Broomfield, which will play No. 1 Longmont in the Class 4A state title game Friday evening.

The Eagles will attempt to become the first girls team in Colorado to win five straight championships. The Merino boys accomplished the feat in the 1976-80 seasons.

Broomfield (24-3) led from start to finish, leading 30-21 at halftime.

Brittany Hernandez led No. 3 Air Academy, from Colorado Springs, with a game-high 24 points.
