FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Jordan Colson scored 13 points to lead Faith Christian to a 48-30 victory over Pagosa Springs in the semifinals of the Colorado boys state 3A basketball tournament Friday night
Derek McCartney added 11 for Faith Christian (25-1). The three-time defending champion never trailed after Nate Chapman’s basket with 2:49 left in the second quarter.
Tyson Ross, who put Pagosa Springs (20-4) ahead 18-17, finished with 13 points.
Pagosa Springs trailed 34-28 early in the fourth quarter. Adam Finnefrock hit two jump shots and Faith Christian outscored the Pirates 14-2 the rest of the way.
