PUEBLO, Colo.—Jonny Foote hit a 3-pointer with 12.8 seconds left in overtime to propel No. 5 Lutheran-Parker to a 43-41 win over No. 1 Yuma in the Class 2A state semifinals Friday night.

The win spoiled the Indians’ perfect season (24-1) and came despite the Lions (22-4) hitting just 1 for 7 free throws in overtime. Andrew Bowers and Zach Loptien led Lutheran-Parker with 10 points apiece.

Yuma’s Matt Bowland hit a jumper in the post with less than 10 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to the four-minute overtime period. Darko Vukasovic led Yuma with a game-high 15 points.

The first half was a back-and-forth battle, with the Lions taking a 20-18 lead into the break. Yuma fought back and led 28-23 heading into the fourth quarter.
