Centennial- based United Launch Alliance sent its third rocket of 2011 aloft Friday. Aboard a Delta IV was a National Reconnaissance Office classified spacecraft.
The launch had been held up by high upper-level winds at the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex.
It was United Launch Alliance’s third launch of 2011 and the 48th since it was formed in December 2006.
