The Colorado Public Utilities Commission approved an extension until Tuesday for solar installers and Xcel Energy to reach a settlement on terms of solar rebates.
The parties originally had a Friday deadline to resolve a dispute that began last month when Xcel cut rebate amounts and temporarily suspended the solar incentive program.
The PUC is expected to hold a hearing Friday to rule on the settlement.
