FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Nathan Rindels scored 19 points as Faith Christian won its fourth straight 3A state basketball championship, beating Jefferson Academy 49-41 Saturday night.
Jordan Colson added 10 points for Faith Christian (26-1). The school’s only loss came to a 5A school, Fossil Ridge.
Faith Christian trailed 18-15 at the half, making only 5-of-15. Rindels heated up, scoring 11 points including a three-point play at the third quarter buzzer to give Faith Christian a 33-24 lead.
Simeon Ukuni had 15 for Jefferson Academy (19-8) which never got closer than 38-31 the rest of the way.
