U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is in Colorado Monday talking about jobs.
Vilsack plans to visit the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce to talk about increasing trade opportunities for Colorado agriculture. Vilsack planned to head to Greeley later Monday for a rural economic development conference at the University of Northern Colorado.
Vilsack said earlier this month that U.S. agriculture exports are expecting a record year—$135.5 billion for the fiscal year ending in September.
Gov. John Hickenlooper planned to join Vilsack on his Colorado visits.
