
A fire broke out this morning at a duplex in Boulder and one person suffered severe burns.
The fire started at about 3:10 a.m. on the 400 block of Arapahoe Avenue, according to a City of Boulder media release.
When firefighters arrived they found the duplex, 408 and 410 Arapahoe Ave., “fully involved” with three adults still inside the residences.
Two people were taken to Boulder Community Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and one victim was flown by helicopter to University Hospital in Aurora to be treated for “severe” burns.
Further details on the injuries were not available.
Twenty-five firefighters put out the blaze and fire department investigators are at the scene trying to determine the cause.
