A homicide victim who was shot over the weekend in Denver has been identified.
Jacob Lauver, 21, was shot at about 4 a.m. Saturday at a residence in the 2800 block of West Vassar Avenue, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
The cause of death is pending autopsy results, the coroner’s office said, and the manner of death is homicide.
When police arrived at the home early Saturday they found Lauver in a doorway of the home suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Lauver was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect has been arrested in the case.
