Average retail gasoline prices in Denver have risen 2.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.30 a gallon Sunday.
This compares with the national average that has increased 3.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.53 a gallon, according to gasoline price website .
Including the change in gas prices in Denver during the past week, prices yesterday were 68.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day a year ago and are 35.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 40.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 74.5 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
