A Montrose man was killed Monday after his Jeep rolled on U.S. Highway 50 near Grand Junction.
Cort M. Kane, 57, was driving his 1997 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Highway 50 when he lost control about 10 miles southeast of Grand Junction, according to a news release from the Colorado State Patrol.
The Jeep spun clockwise off the right-hand side of the road and rolled almost three times before colliding with a fence.
Kane was wearing his seatbelt. Drugs, alcohol and speed are not considered factors in the crash.
The Colorado State Patrol is continuing an investigation into the crash.
