The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office will host a memorial service for former Sheriff Richard Shockley on March 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The memorial will be held at the Larimer County Board of Commissioners hearing room on the first floor of the courthouse offices at 200 W. Oak St. in Fort Collins.
Shockley, who served as Larimer sheriff from 1991 to 1999, died Jan. 25 after a struggle with cancer.
Officials say the memorial will be followed by a time to socialize with Shockley’s wife, Jan, his friends and former co-workers.
