IHS, a Douglas County-based provider of information and insight, reported a 23 percent increase in revenue and a 15 percent rise in profits in the first quarter. Net income rose to $30.7 million, or 47 cents per diluted share, from $26.8 million, or 42 cents per share, in the comparable period last year. Revenue totaled $295 million, from $241 million last year.
