The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs College of Business is extending its reach to one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. It has signed an agreement with a business school and a training company in India that will allow Indian students to take online graduate-level classes and earn a certificate in services management from UCCS.
The business school expects about 20 students when the non-degree program with Europe Asia Business School and Global Talent Track Pvt. Ltd., a vocational training firm, begins in the spring semester of 2012, said Venkat Reddy, the Colorado school’s dean. The agreement with the school and training firm, both based in Pune, India, also calls for setting up a Center for Services Excellence for research on the service industry and offering programs in India that come from several academic disciplines.
