MIAMI—Raymond Felton is out for Denver’s game at Miami, hampered by a sprained left ankle.

Felton was injured in the final minute of Denver’s loss at Orlando on Friday. The guard is averaging 10.1 points, 6.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 11 games since being traded to the Nuggets, all coming off the bench.

For the season, he is averaging 15.9 points and 8.6 assists, including his 54-game stint to begin the season with the New York Knicks. Nuggets coach George Karl said Felton may miss at least a couple more games before returning.

Meanwhile, Miami is again without center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who missed his fifth straight game with an infected foot. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says Ilgauskas is improving.
