A fire that broke out Sunday morning at Pasquini’s Pizza, 1336 E. 17th Ave., damaged a staircase and some other property behind the building but did little damage inside the restaurant.
The restaurant had not yet opened, and nobody was injured in the blaze, said Steve Maddock, Denver Fire Department assistant chief.
A passer-by reported the blaze.
