At the request of area communities, federal regulators are letting the public review a company’s plans to dispose of waste from its proposed uranium and vanadium mill near Naturita in southwest Colorado.
The Environmental Protection Agency is taking public comments through April 8 on plans by Toronto-based Energy Fuels Corp. for a lined tailings cell and an evaporation pond at the Piñon Ridge mill.
