Peterson Air Force Base has identified 10 energy and water conservation projects as part of a Defense Department energy-saving program.
The projects, announced last week, include installing solar panels to heat water for a swimming pool and upgrading heating and cooling systems in several buildings.
Some of the changes were identified in energy audits conducted last year.
Officials didn’t provide the cost of the projects.
