Twitter users will tweet and greet at tomorrow’s Denver Twestival in an effort to raise money for charity.
Twestivals, organized by the Twitter community, will take place worldwide tomorrow to raise money for different charities.
The Twestival in Denver will be from 7 to 10 p.m. at Greenspaces at 1368 26th St., according to the invitation posted on Facebook.
This year the Denver Twitter community will “tweet, meet and give” funds to Earth Force, a Denver-based non-profit organization that engages young people to improve the environment and be active citizens in their communities.
Denver Twestival will feature live music by the band Places, food from Chicago Louie’s Paddy Wagon and a tasting bar from Leopold Brothers.
Prizes will be raffled off in addition to a silent auction.
The event is put together by a group of volunteers passionate about “using social media for social good,” and 100 percent of the proceeds will go directly to Earth Force.
