The Larimer County Coroner’s Office has ruled the December plane crash death of a 50-year-old Lyons man a suicide, but the reason for that ruling is locked in unreleased county and federal investigative reports.
Charles “Chuck” Cullum died Dec. 27 when his Cessna 210B crashed near Carter Lake west of Berthoud.
In January, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office ruled the death a suicide, according to a report obtained Thursday. However, the context of the ruling is not included in the report, which refers to the “investigative record” for details.
