Greener patio aspirations?
Trex, the longtime maker of sustainable deck materials, has introduced a new line of hearty, eco-friendly outdoor furniture. The pieces are made from 90 percent post- consumer recycled content such as milk jugs and laundry detergent bottles. According to the company, just one Trex Adirondack chair contains the equivalent of 240 milk jugs. The new collection includes table, chairs, rocking chairs, porch swings and sofas, none of which rot, splinter or crack. Prices start at about $200 per piece. Details and dealer information at .
