CAÑON CITY — The Colorado Division of Wildlife is looking for whoever illegally shot a deer with an arrow in the Cañon City area.
The division says a resident called police Friday to report the deer was lying in a field. Hunting season is over, so the deer was shot illegally.
Wildlife officers say anyone who comes forward with information leading to an arrest or citation of the poacher could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 and preference points for a future hunting license. Denver Post staff and wire reports
