Commerce City police revealed on Monday that the 18-year-old who was shot to death Sunday night was Dijoun Quinn, a recent graduate of Adams City High School who had enlisted in the Army.
Quinn was shot multiple times as he walked along the 6500 block of Holly Street about 9:30 p.m., police said.
Police provided no description of any suspects but said in a news release that they are looking into several leads.

Quinn’s grandfather, Leander Quinn, told 9News that the teen was walking to a convenience store for cigarettes when he was gunned down.
“He liked walking,” Leander Quinn said. “I believe it was one of his downfalls. He used to walk a lot by himself, put his little headphones on, be all over the city.
“He trusted everyone; he didn’t think no one deserved being distrusted. He thought this world was different,” Quinn said.
He said his grandson was not involved in gangs and had no known enemies.
Dijoun Quinn recently enlisted in the Army and was to leave for basic training in June, his grandfather said.
“He never really had a bad moment,” Quinn said. “He always seemed to have had spirit on his side.”
Said Dijoun Quinn’s mother, Keona Miller: “Whoever did it, they could’ve just drove by, instead of shoot my baby boy. I would give my life for my son.”
