BOSTON – — Boston College junior Reggie Jackson has made himself eligible for the NBA draft. But the 6-foot-3 guard says he won’t hire an agent, so he could remove his name from the list and return to school.

The 2008 graduate of Palmer High School in Colorado Springs averaged 18.2 points, 4.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game last season. He was the team’s leading scorer as it rebounded from a sub-.500 season and went 21-13 (9-7 in the ACC) under new coach Steve Donahue.

Jackson was named to the all-ACC first team and earned an honorable mention for The Associated Press All-America team. He has until May 8 to remove his name from consideration and retain his college eligibility.
