Mike West, a professional mountain biker who was ticketed earlier this month for allegedly riding on an illegal Boulder trail, has been suspended from his pro riding team by Yeti Cycles, the company announced late Wednesday night.
West, a Boulder resident, was identified Tuesday as the person ticketed for allegedly riding on the north side of Flagstaff Mountain on March 19 — which led to the exposure of a mile-long illegal trail.
In a statement released at 11 p.m., Golden-based Yeti Cycles said it immediately suspended West after learning about the allegations against him.
