WHEAT RIDGE — Police are looking for the driver of a car who hit a motorcyclist Friday morning and drove away.

The accident happened about 6:30 a.m. The motorcycle was southbound on Kipling Street near West 50th Avenue when a white sedan, perhaps a 2000-2003 Subaru WRX or WRX STI, made a left-hand turn, colliding with the motorcycle.

The car likely has front end damage as a result of the crash.

Anyone with information can call the Wheat Ridge Police Department at 303-237-2220.
