A 54-year-old woman died Saturday when the vehicle she was driving hit a tree.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to Memorial Hospital, where she died, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
She was driving west on Uintah Street just past Hancock Street when her vehicle drifted left and hit a tree on the south side of the road, police said.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt.
