The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the owner of a ring as they prepare to honor the 12-year-old who found it at the Streets of Southglenn mall.
Daniel Seese found the ring in a storm drain on March 31 and chose to turn it in. Friday, the Sheriff’s Department will recognize his “honesty, integrity and selflessness,” the department said in a media release this afternoon.
The release quotes Daniel as saying “he hopes the rightful owner is found soon.”
A description of the ring was not released, but anyone who might have lost one at or near the mall can call Sgt. Steve Rolen at 720-874-3646.
