Niketown in the Denver Pavilions downtown will close in mid May.

The store, among the original tenants of the 12-year-old shopping center, will offer its employees severance to assist them as they transition, company spokeswoman Erin Patterson said in an email.

“The Denver market is important to us, and we will continue to serve our consumers through our retail partners, and our four Nike Factory Stores located in Lakewood, Silverthorne, Castle Rock and Loveland,” Patterson wrote.
