FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Chris Schuler and Paulo Araujo scored goals Saturday night and Real Salt Lake won its third straight to start the season, beating the New England Revolution 2-0.
New England, which finished down two men, had been unbeaten with a win and three ties coming into the game.
Schuler, a central defender from Creighton University who was making his second start, headed in a corner taken by Collen Warner from the left side in the 27th minute.
Araujo, a 22-year-old Brazilian, scored in the 47th minute.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Toronto’s Alan Gordon and San Jose’s Simon Dawkins scored for the second consecutive match as their teams tied.
Gordon took advantage of a defensive miscue by the Earthquakes in the 27th minute to give Toronto the lead.
Dawkins responded in the 38th minute for San Jose.
