Getting your player ready...
One of the Rockies’ issues figures to be Dexter Fowler’s ability to set the table on the road. He hit .313 with a .401 on-base percentage at Coors Field in 2010. On the road, those numbers dived to .211 and .297. So far, so good as he reached base six times in the series’ first two games. He walked and scored in his first two at-bats Saturday.
Hip, hip Herrera.
Jonathan Herrera made his first two starts of the season Friday and Saturday. There will be plenty more after the way he has played. Herrera reached base four times, three via hits, on Friday. And he reached in his first four at-bats, three via walks, Saturday.
