Weld County prosecutors on Monday filed charges against an Erie man accused of planting a web cam in a neighbor’s home in an attempt to spy on her, according to the Weld County District Attorney’s Office.
Gordon Schumacher, 35, was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and attempted sexual contact as a peeping Tom, a misdemeanor. Erie police arrested him last week after tracing a web cam the woman found in her home to him, according to reports.
The 33-year-old woman called police after discovering the device placed among her computer equipment in her home on the 500 block of High Street, police reported.
