The bell in the Daniels & Fisher Tower was rung for the first time on March 30, 1911, and exactly 100 years later, Holly Kylberg hosted a “bell-ebration” so that a host of prominent Denverites could mark the occasion by ringing it in celebration. Kylberg’s Clock Tower Events occupies the tower’s upper floors, and along with the bell pealing 100 times, she offered cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and desserts as her guests explored the historic structure that had been the tallest building west of the Mississippi when it was built in 1910 to complement the flagship Daniels & Fisher department store on Denver’s 16th Street.
