A group of 11 health care lawyers has left the law firm of Faegre & Benson in Denver and joined the Denver office of Polsinelli Shughart.
The team will work with local, regional and national health care clients.
Seven of the lawyers have become shareholders of Polsinelli Shughart: Jennifer Evans, Colleen Faddick, T. Jeffrey Fitzgerald, Bruce John son, Ann McCullough, Aileen Murphy and Gerald Niederman.
“Health care law is a core national practice at Polsinelli Shughart,” firm chairman Russell Welsh said. “This significant expansion brings additional experience and depth to serve health care providers across the country and is part of our long-term strategic plan to broaden our services in key practice areas and offices of our firm.”
With the addition, the firm’s health care group comprises about 55 lawyers and advisers nationally.
In 2010, Modern Healthcare ranked Polsinelli Shughart’s national health care practice as the 10th-largest in the nation. Its clients include Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives and St. Joseph Health System, based in Orange, Calif.
